Yesterday in Chicagoland we were blessed with ridiculous weather. I think it topped out somewhere about 80 degrees. Unheard of in April since sometime in the '40s. A fabulous day to be sure but the best part was that April 1st looked like summer. The kids are on spring break so they were able to fully enjoy the day. Shorts, flip flops, scooters and bicycles - everywhere.The first look through the screen door, Ella and her best friend Laney. Two girlfriends swinging on the porch enjoying playground games. Love it.

Awesome! I love spring and we try to get the kids outside as much as possible, even though there don't seem to be any kids on our block! (In our old neighborhood, on a spring day, the street was full of kids!) We got a trampoline last summer just to give them a reason to go outside!
